Beata Rostas, 16 Ağustos 1979’ da Macaristan, Eger’de doğdu. 2004’te Pecs Sanat Üniversitesi’nden heykeltraş olarak mezun oldu.

Halen Hacettepe Üniversitesi’nde doktora programına devam etmektedir.

Mesleki kariyerine öğrenci iken aldığı Republic Grant ödülü, Heves ile Eger Bursları ile başlayan Rostas, 2009’da “Mother of Earth” eseri ile Sırbistan Uluslararası Kadın Sanatçılar Sergisi’nde “ Best Ceramic Plastic” ödülüne layık görüldü. Litvanya Vilnoja Sempozyumu’nda büyük boyutlu granit eseri olan “ Anyacska/ Big Mama” ile üçüncük ödülü aldı. 2011’de ise kendi ülkesinde Prima Primissima ödülünü aldı.

Macaristan’daki en önemli sanat derneğinin bir üyesi olan Rostas, bazı uluslararası kuruluşlara da üyedir. Çalışmaları çeşitli ülkelerde 13 kişisel, 43 grup sergisinde yer almıştır.

Mezun olduktan sonra Pecs Contemporary Art Societies’de çalişmiş, ancak yalnızca mesleğine odaklanmak için herşeyi arkasında bırakmıştır.

2004’ten beri Birleşik Arap Emirlikleri, Çin, Umman, Yunanistan, İtalya, Romanya, Litvanya, Kıbrıs, Mısır, Rusya, Almanya, Türkiye, Çek Cumhuriyeti, Slovenya, Austuriya ve büyük boyutlu taş eserleri ile pişmiş toprak terrakotta çalıştığı Sırbistan ve Ankara Macsabal, ve Eskişehir sempozyumları ile 38 Uluslararası Heykel Sempozyumu’nda yer almıştır. Ayrıca buz ile çalıştığı Erciyes ve saman ile çalıştığı İskenderun’da ve Hırvatistan’da farklı eserler bırakmıştır.

 

Son 9 yılda, dünyanın farklı yerlerinde 32 büyük boyutlu dış mekan heykeli şekillendirmiştir.
